First make your half square triangles according to the instructions, sorry I didn't take pictures of mine.
Draw diagonal lines on the back of the HST's. Place two HST right sides together with the cream square. Sew 1/4" seam on both sides of the line.
Cut on the line and press toward the HST's . Place the remaining HST's on the corners of the cream squares. Sew 1/4" seam on both sides of the line.
Cut on the line and press toward the HST. You will now have 4 flying geese. Sew a 2 1/2" square to the sides of two flying geese.
Sew flying geese to the top and bottom of the 4 1/2" square and then the flying geese with the squares to the sides. (sorry I know the pictures are in different color ways)
Now you can add the churndash like January and Feburary's blocks.
