Students will complete several blocks and choose a layout option for their own personal quilt. It is also very helpful to have a 6 1/2" x 18" ruler. *Kaleido-ruler is required for class.

Seam Allowance!
In the quilting world a proper seam allowance can make or break your quilt. Most patterns call for a 1/4" seam allowance. Why do you need to make sure your seam allowance is consistent? Your pieces won't fit together and then you will need to pick!
Now there will be times you have to UNSEW! Watch this great video on how to really quick, unpick!

We have these amazingly sharp seam rippers in stock and what is also wonderful about them is the cap is spongy and will remove the extra threads.
